Often used throughout pregnancy and into labour to help strengthen the uterus, ease delivery, and curb excessive bleeding.

Raspberry Leaf For Menstrual Cramps

Because of Red Raspberry Leaf’s ability to strengthen and tone the uterine tissue, it can be helpful during menstruation. The compound fragrance is responsible for helping to tone the uterus, helping to reduce cramping and bloating. Raspberry leaf also helps to increase pelvic and uterine circulation, bringing blood flow to these areas.

Raspberry Leaf For Inflammation

Red raspberry is anti-inflammatory and can soothe and reduce nausea that often comes during your period.

Raspberry Leaf For Heavy Period

Red raspberry leaves are rich in tannins and have astringent properties. The astringent means to ‘tone’ and hold in fluids which is why red raspberry lea can be beneficial for women experiencing heavy menstrual flow.

Benefits of Cacao For Period Cramps

We also included the chocolatey goodness of raw cacao!

Cacao is rich in minerals including magnesium, manganese, calcium and zinc. The high magnesium content makes for an epic nutritional ingredient to ease cramping and support muscle function during your bleed.

Not to mention chocolate is delicious, comforting, and pairs well with the raspberries we added to the hot chocolate recipe.

Fresh Raspberries For Your Period

Raspberries are high in antioxidants supportive of healthy arteries and blood flow.

Collagen Peptides

The collagen in this recipe encourages tissue support throughout the body and adds a lovely velvety texture to this warm drink. Along with circulation promoting warming spices such as cinnamon and honey to bring it all together!
