My creamy, rose infused tonic is brimming beautifying herbs and superfoods!

This is one of my signature elixirs that has been popular in my classes and with my private clients for many years. I want to share it with you and at the same time reiterate the feminine benefits of ancient beauty herbs.

First, pearl powder (yes, actual crushed up pearls) has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years as a beauty tonic. Pearls contain the powerful anti-aging antioxidant SOD that will help to smooth wrinkles and heal blemishes.

In Chinese tonic herbalism, Schizandra berry is known as the five flavor fruit. It is used to bring moisture and a glow to the skin, brighten the eyes, sharpen the mind, and energize the body.  In fact, Chinese healers believe that consuming schizandra for 100 days straight will change your life.

A Note On Collagen Peptides

Collagen peptides is my absolute favorite protein powder. It is made from the skin of cows, and supports optimal collagen production in your skin and joints. It will turn this elixir into a meal or snack with a perfect balance of fats, proteins and carbs.

This recipe will make one 400 ml serving and is best blended fresh with warm tea.
